PowerSports was formed in 1978 to initially serve the tennis industry. However, through the years, the company's leaders, avid fans of both tennis and the wonderful game of platform tennis, decided to focus solely on platform tennis.
PowerSports owners have extensive knowledge of the sport--combined over a 100 years--and great insight into platform tennis paddles, balls, accessories. PowerSports is an authorized dealer of both Viking and Xenon.
When the pandemic hit in 2020 and people were looking for year-round outside activities, platform tennis filled that need. With the increase in play, managers found facilities were lacking in extras that could help accommodate the additional play and socializing. Powersports formed a relationship with a builder who constructs benches, coolers, and ball warmers specifically for platform tennis courts and is now the exclusive dealer of these products. PowerSports also carries extension netting and nets.
